SAP Cloud Platform Integration Service delivers pre-configured integration flow packages to accelerate integration projects in application to application scenarios with business partners or public authorities.

It provides core integration patterns and security capabilities for safe and reliable processing and data integration. It lets you leverage a broad choice of protocols: HTTP, RFC, SMTP, POP3, and IMAP.

SAP Platform Integration Platform supports different message formats and also offers message converters.

The SAP Cloud Platform API management service supports an API based integration approach by enabling simple access to more than 900 APIs from SAP and partners.

SAP customers can leverage SAP Cloud Platform Open Connectors especially in scenarios where they need to integrate with more than one non SAP system, or when they want to take advantage of the REST based API approach in multiple consumption channels, like mobile and web applications, policy executions and API management in SAP Data Intelligence.

The service provides comprehensive connectivity to non SAP systems. It offers approximately 160 prebuilt connectors to non SAP services such as Salesforce.

Also it provides a unified API layer irrespective of the back-end of the application you’re integrating with.
