Customer and partner portals, connected to Salesforce.
Build a branded customer or partner portal with Salesforce Experience Cloud, or connect a custom portal where that fits better. Give users a place to submit requests, follow progress and access the records relevant to them.
Let customers register, search help articles, submit and track cases, check orders and download relevant documents. Add notifications and guided forms so users know what information is missing and when your team has responded, without exposing another customer’s records.
Support partner applications, onboarding, lead distribution, deal registration and shared opportunities. Define duplicate-deal checks, review stages and ownership rules. Give partners the approved sales resources and visibility they need while keeping each organisation’s pipeline separate.
03
Access that fits each relationship
Define what each customer, partner and team member can see and change. Test record visibility across accounts and roles before release.
Connect portal activity to Salesforce workflows and, where needed, your website, mobile app, ecommerce or other business systems.
05
Sign-in & user onboarding
Plan invitations, self-registration, account recovery and single sign-on with the chosen identity provider. Define how users join an account, who approves them and how access ends. Review authentication requirements and keep guest access restricted to explicitly public content.
06
Guided requests & shared documents
Create forms for applications, document submissions and approvals. Make required information, request status and the next action clear on mobile and desktop.
07
Content, search & multilingual experiences
Build responsive navigation, searchable knowledge and content targeted to the right audience. Define translation, publication and content ownership, including Arabic layouts where needed. Measure unsuccessful searches and abandoned requests to identify where the portal still needs human support.
How we approach it
How we work
Start with the people using the portal and the tasks they need to complete. We define access, content and workflows, build the experience, and test it with representative customer and partner accounts.
This service focuses on portals built around Salesforce records and workflows. A broader application can also connect to Salesforce through APIs. We recommend the approach after reviewing the audience, licensing, design needs and integrations.
Can customers and partners use different experiences?+
Yes. Their navigation, available information and actions can differ. The important part is testing the access rules as well as the screens.
How are portal licences chosen?+
We review who signs in, how often, which records they need and how those records are shared. Customer and partner use cases can require different external licences. Identity-only access does not automatically include access to CRM records.
Can a partner portal include training or incentive programmes?+
These can be assessed alongside the core portal. Partner enablement, learning, market-development funds and incentive workflows may need additional products, licences or integrations. We separate those requirements from basic access, deal registration and document sharing before recommending a design.
